Snohomish county has lots of family-friendly events coming up celebrating Halloween. So many of them are happening on Halloween night, it may be hard to decide. Tempting as it is to stick close to home, every township has something of its own to offer. Spooktacular with Caspar Babypants! Where: 1210 132nd St SE Mill Creek When: October 25 Time: 12:30 pm Admission: $5 per person and babes in arms are free Come join Cedar Cross Cooperative Preschool for a very special Halloween treat "A Spooktacular Show with Caspar Babypants" for an all-ages public show (you don't have to be part of the preschool to attend)! Come in costume for 12:30pm and enjoy all the spooky fun we have in store. Trick or Treating before the show! FREE Halloween Face Painting. Take your keepsake picture in our spooktacular photo-booth (1 4x6 is $1) Enter to win a Birthday Party for up to 12 kids from Northshore Gymnastics Center! Includes: 1 hour of supervised gymnastics & 45 minutes in the party area. Raffle tickets cost $1/ea. Enter to win a Halloween/Scentsy Basket of goodies! Raffle tickets cost $1/ea. Spook & Splash Family Halloween Event Where: The Lynwood Recreation Center and Pool When: October 25 Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm Admission: $6 per person Not-so-scary activities for all ages, including carnival games, crafts, food and trick or treating in the Candy Forest. Admission includes a dip in the pool from 8:30-10pm. Boo Bash Where: Mukilteo Rosehill Community Center When: October 26 Time: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Admission: Free Wear you Halloween costume! The Mukilteo Library and YMCA will be running games, arts and craft projects and a walk-through haunted house. Hear spooky Halloween stories and get a family picture with a professional photographer. Trick-or-treat at local businesses in Old Town and all children receive a reusable Boo Bash bag to hold their candy. Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Mukilteo Food Bank! Safe Halloween Where: Country Village in Bothell When: October 31 Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Admission: Free Enjoy a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for the whole family! Participating shops will be handing out treats to costumed little ones. Halloween photos will be taken at The Village Bean throughout the day. 1st Street Haunted House for Children and Downtown Trick-or-Treat Where: The Marks Building in Snohomish When: October 31 Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Admission: $1 or free with a food donation Kids can trick-or-treat at participating businesses or check out the not-so-spooky haunted house. Edmonds Trick-or-Treat Night Where: Downtown Edmonds When: October 31 Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Admission: Free Come downtown for music, family photos and plenty of goodies! Join the costume contest with categories for pets, kids and adults. Streets will be blocked off to traffic. Treats on Main Street Where: Mill Creek When: October 31 Time: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Admission: Free Bring a trick-or-treat bag to participating business along beautiful Mill Creek Town Center! Trunk or Treat Where: Mill Creek City Hall Parking Lot When: October 31 Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Admission: Free with a donated non-perishable food item This event features a parking lot of parked cars filled with candy and children go from car to car “trunk-or-treating!” Fun and safe for the entire family.
